Epiphone has debuted its new Vivian Campbell “Holy Diver” Les Paul Outfit.
Featuring two DiMarzio X2N open coil humbuckers, a mahogany body with a maple cap and a 3-piece maple neck, the “Holy Diver” Les Paul is based on the guitar that Campbell used on Dio's Holy Diver and The Last in Line.
Campbell initially bought the-then wine red Les Paul Deluxe as a teenager in Belfast. He then sanded the guitar down, and had it painted with a matte black finish.
“We tried to make it as close as possible to how this guitar was circa 1982,” Campbell said of the guitar in a video from Epiphone, which you can check out in its entirety below.
The "Holy Diver" Les Paul Outfit also comes with an EpiLite case and Certificate of Authenticity, and will be available for a limited time only.
