Earlier this year, we—along with Guitarist, Total Guitar, Guitar Techniques, Guitar World, Bass Magazine and MusicRadar—set out to find the best guitarists in the world.

Over the last few months, we've—with the help of some star judges—picked out the best three of the hundreds of entry videos in each category (Guitarist of the Year, Acoustic Guitarist of the Year and Young Guitarist of the Year).

The entrants were judged on technicality, originality, musicality and feel, and all nine will perform at the UK Guitar Show next month.

Below, you can check out all of 2019's Guitarist of the Year finalists, and their amazing video entries. Enjoy!

This year’s Guitarist of the Year finalists are Dylan Reavey, Marco Puglisi and Todd Blackmore.

The star judges for the contest, which is presented by PRS, are John Petrucci, Steve Lukather and Tosin Abasi.

Whoever wins the crown at the UK Guitar Show will win themselves a PRS Silver Sky.
