Supro has unveiled its new Tri Tone guitar.

Inspired by the ultra-rare, art deco, three-pickup solidbody Supro Triple Tone, which was only manufactured in 1959, the Tri Tone combines modern and classic features.

The Tri Tone's modern features include a set-neck construction, a tune-o-matic bridge, a tummy cut and increased access to the upper frets. The guitar's body is made of solid mahogany, while its neck is built from hard rock maple.

Pickups-wise, the Tri Tone packs pair of authentic Vistatones in the neck and middle positions, with an overwound Super Alnico unit in the bridge. Its predecessor, on the other hand, featured three high-output, noise-cancelling Vistatone single coil pickups.

The Supro Tri Tone features a black satin finish, and is available now for $999.
