Rocktron has introduced its new VooDu Valve LTD guitar preamp.
A limited edition version of one of the company's most beloved creations, the VooDu Valve LTD is a digital/tube preamp featuring two-tap chorusing, a dual-mode phaser, a two-tap flanger, compression, pitch shift, frequency programmable wah-wah, tremolo, reverb, echo-like delay featuring a unique tap tempo mode and HUSH noise reduction placed after the preamp and before the effects.
Users can choose either High or Low tube gain selections depending on how much tube break-up they want. According to Rocktron, the "low" tube gain presets produce sharp clean tones, while the "high" tube gain presets offer a tinge of dirt.
The VooDu's preamp section controls include Variac, Pentode, Triode and Solid State voicings. Other features include a headphone output, tap tempo delay, balanced XLR outputs (with level control) and ¼” outs.
The Rocktron VooDu Valve LTD will only be produced in limited numbers, and is available now for $749.
