Vivo[1] X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor has been certified by TENAA in China. The company had showcased the world's first ready-to-produce in-display fingerprint scanning technology on the Vivo X20 Plus at CES 2018[2]. Although the handset looks similar to the Vivo X20 Plus[3], it does not have a square rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Based on the 'UD' nomenclature, it is expected that the smartphone will have an 'under display' fingerprint scanner.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo X20 Plus UD will sport a 6.43-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels, according to the Chinese certification site TENAA's listing[4]. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and it features 4GB RAM. When it comes to the camera, the Vivo X20 Plus UD sports a dual camera setup at the back, with a 12-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens. On the front, the handset will feature a 12-megapixel camera.

Internal storage of the Vivo phone would be 128GB, with support for expansion up to 256GB. It will be powered by a 3800mAh battery. Connectivity features mention in the TENAA page include Bluetooth, USB support, and 4G Internet. The handset's dimensions are said to be 165.2x80.02x7.35mm, and its weight 183.1 gram. Colour options will be Black Gold, Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Matte Black, the listing suggests.
