As expected[1], Jio has reduced the prices of its popular plans offering 1GB per day data, along with making other notable changes to its tariffs. Apart from the cheaper 1GB per day packs, subscribers can also opt for new packs offering 1.5GB data per day. Jio[2] is also giving more data with the Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 plans as part of this tariff revision. These changes are part of the Happy New Year 2018 promotion from Jio, and are available only for prepaid Prime[3] subscribers. There have been no changes to the postpaid plans the company offers.

The earlier Rs. 149 pack, which offered 28-day validity and 150MB data per day, has been phased out as part of this exercise.
