OnePlus 5T[1], the Chinese company's first edge-to-edge display smartphone, will be going on sale for the first time in India on Tuesday. The first OnePlus 5T sale is exclusive to Amazon Prime members and will kick off at 4:30pm IST on Tuesday on the Amazon India website and app. Interested customers can also participate in the early access sale on OnePlusStore.in and OnePlus Experience Store at the same time. Open sales of the OnePlus 5T start[2] on November 28, the same day as the US and EU markets, showing the importance of India for the company.

The OnePlus 5T[4] price in India starts at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant, and goes up to Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage variant. It will only be available in a Midnight Black colour variant.

 

OnePlus 5T specifications and features

Refreshing the specifications, the OnePlus 5T supports dual-SIM cards and runs OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It sports Face Unlock feature which the company says is based on advanced facial recognition algorithms. There's a fingerprint scanner at the back panel as well. Notably, the OnePlus 5T foregoes the hardware capacitive buttons that have been a staple on the offerings from the Chinese company.
