Jio has upped the ante for rival telecom operators such as Airtel and Vodafone with the launch of its new 'triple cashback' offer[1] that provides benefits worth up to Rs. 2,599. The new Jio[2] offer will certainly lure some customers to the network, but there are enough good plans that the likes of Airtel[3], Vodafone[4], Idea[5] and BSNL[6] offer to retain their subscribers. Of course, the most popular plans since Reliance Jio entered the market are the ones with 1GB data per day allowance. In fact, the first such plan – the Rs. 303 pack by the Mukesh Ambani-backed operator – led to the launch of many such recharge packs by rival telcos. However, with so much action in the telecom sector nowadays, plans come and go rather fast. So if you are looking to buy a plan with 1GB data per day, here’s a list of such plans by the five major telcos.

Jio 1GB data per day plans

Jio has the widest range of plans with 1GB data per day, with varying validities of course. Since the Diwali tariff revision[7], the Rs. 309 plan comes with 1GB data per day for 49 days, while the Rs. 399 plan offers the same daily data allowance for 70 days. Similarly, you will get 84GB data at 1GB per day for 84 days with the Rs. 459 plan, and 1GB daily for 91 days for Rs. 499. All these Jio plans come with free calls and 3,000 SMSes and access to Jio apps.
