A month after the Diwali cashback[1] offer, Reliance Jio cashbacks made a comeback[2] this week – with a lot more benefits than before. The company is offering cashback and vouchers worth up to Rs. 2,599 on recharges of Rs. 399 and more, with greater benefits for new users than existing customers. Of course, you need to buy the Rs. 99 Prime subscription to become eligible for the freebies. Jio[3] will give vouchers worth Rs. 400 (eight vouchers of Rs. 50), wallet cashback, and discounts on Ajio.com, Reliancetrends.com, and Yatra.com. The offer started on Friday, November 10 and will be up for grabs till November 25.

Jio rival Airtel[4] was also in the news this week for updating its Rs. 349 prepaid plan to offer 50 percent more data[5]. Buyers will now get 1.5GB data per day with the Rs. 349 pack instead of the daily 1GB; the other details, such as the 28-day validity and unlimited calls, remain the same. The operator also launched a Rs. 448 plan with 1GB data per day, unlimited local and STD calls, and 3,000mAh battery for 70 days.

Airtel broadband subscribers will now be able to use leftover data from one billing cycle in the next one[6] as operator has expanded its Data Rollover facility. Users will be able to accumulate up to 1,000GB data, but they stand to lose all the leftover data if they move to a plan of lower value. Notably, this facility is not available with all plans, and the select plans will vary from circle to circle.
