
Idea has announced a partnership with Sony Mobiles India under which the operator will offer 60GB of extra data to buyers of the Xperia R1[1] and Xperia R1 Plus[2] smartphones. The Sony[3] smartphones are affordable offerings and unveiled in India in late October[4]; they will become available for purchase in India starting November 10.
Buyers of Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus will get 10GB data on purchasing a recharge of Rs. 300 and above from Idea[5]. They can avail this offer six times, totalling in 60GB of complimentary data. Apart from this, Amazon India is providing buyers Rs. 75 as cashback on purchases made via Amazon Pay balance. Customers can also opt for no-cost EMI via Bajaj FinServ and major credit cards for the two phones.
