As it usually happens with new iPhone[1] launches, the prices of the old iPhone models have been slashed by Apple[2] in the US following the launch[3] of iPhone X[4] and iPhone 8[5] models. In India as well, the company has now slashed the prices of iPhone 6s[6], iPhone 6s Plus[7], iPhone 7[8], and iPhone 7 Plus[9]. Considering that the upcoming iPhone models will still take some time to arrive on shelves and will still be relatively expensive, the affordable models might not be a bad option for purchase.

Starting with the iPhone 6s, the 32GB and 128GB storage variants of the smartphone were earlier available for Rs. 46,900 and Rs. 55,900 in India but are now being offered at Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 49,000 respectively. If we talk about the larger iPhone 6s Plus, the 32GB and 128GB storage variants of the handset were earlier available for purchase in India at a price of Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 65,000 but will now be available at Rs. 49,000 and Rs. 58,000 respectively.

Moving to last year's iPhone 7, the 32GB storage variant of the smartphone was earlier available for Rs. 56,200 and the 128GB variant was offered by the company at Rs. 65,200. After the price cut, the former model is available[10] for purchase at Rs. 49,000, while the latter can be purchased at Rs. 58,000, as seen on the company's India website.

Moving on to the price cuts in the company's home country US, post the launch of iPhone X and new iPhone 8 models, Apple has slashed the starting price of iPhone 6s, iPhone...
