After the ELYT e-1[1], Intex has decided to expand its Aqua series portfolio by launching the Aqua A4 in India. The device's big highlight is that it supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Intex Aqua A4 is priced at Rs. 4,199, and will be available across major retail stores in the country.

The smartphone is only made available in Black colour option, and the Intex Aqua A4 houses the speaker grille at the back. There are capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom edge of the display, and the ribbed back casing looks to give a sturdier grip.

The Intex Aqua A4[2] runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports dual-SIM slots. It features a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA display that offers 245ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Aqua A4 offers 8GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via microSD card (up to 64GB).

As for optics, the Intex Aqua A4 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and support for flash light. At the front, there is a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats as well. It packs a 1750mAh battery which is rated to offer up to 4to 6 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The device measures at 125x64x11.2mm and weighs 119.5 grams. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, WLAN, FM radio ,and Wi-Fi.
